IT Leader Exchange Launches Invitation-Only Events Series for Senior IT Leaders

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Technology and community leaders Sophie Danby and William Goddard today announced the launch of IT Leader Exchange, a new community-led initiative created to give IT leaders a trusted environment where they can speak openly, learn from one another and work through the challenges shaping the future of IT.
IT Leader Exchange will deliver a series of professionally facilitated, invitation-only events across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Each event will bring together a carefully selected group of senior IT leaders for candid peer conversations, practical learning and meaningful professional connections.
The environment will be strictly no sales and no marketing. There will be no product pitches, vendor presentations or staged conversations. The agenda will be shaped around the issues IT leaders want and need to discuss, with input from local IT leadership communities, independent experts and the leaders attending each event.
"IT leaders get invited to plenty of events, and almost all of them are built around what someone wants to tell them. Sitting in an audience is not how anyone learns what their peers are doing. Nobody presents or pitches at our events. The initial program is expected to include more than 35 events, connecting over 1,500 IT leaders across major markets in North America and the United Kingdom.
Danby is an independent ITSM marketing consultant, co-founder of the IT service management publication ITSM.tools, and a recognized voice in global IT service management, known for cutting through industry jargon and for community building across the sector.

Through IT Chronicles Media, the 10 in Tech and AllThingsITSM podcast, he has brought together practitioners, analysts, technology leaders and vendors to exchange ideas and challenge industry assumptions.
IT Leader Exchange was founded by Goddard and Danby, who bring decades of combined experience across technology, marketing, IT service management, media and community development.
In addition to its in-person events, IT Leader Exchange will capture broader industry insights through research, surveys, interviews and reports. Content and findings will be made available without requiring organizations to purchase subscriptions. Individual comments will only be attributed with the contributor’s permission.
IT Leader Exchange will work with established IT leadership communities and local partners in each market to ensure that its events reflect the priorities and experiences of the leaders they serve.
The series opens in Indianapolis on October 21, followed by London on October 27, Columbus on October 28, Cincinnati on October 29, New York on November 5 and Charlotte on November 10. Further cities will be announced in the coming weeks.
